Thursday, July 6, is the date for the second appointment of the “Lake People’s Movement,” dedicated to Marco Sacco’s lake water project.
Throughout the “Carp” evening, diners can enjoy the following dishes: the chef of Piccolo Lago’s “Crusco” rice, perch from Lake Maggiore, capers from Pantelleria, carp in a poppyseed crust with cooked mayonnaise made with potatoes and red beets masterfully prepared by the Serva brothers from La Trota restaurant, carp marinated in Bordeaux lard, grigia alpina and lake sardine gelato from El Molin, a restaurant under Alessandro Gilmozzi’s expert guidance.
From Lake Garda,“La Grande Limonaia”, Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda’s Matteo Maenza brings his amazing preserved carp. Renato Bosco, master bread-maker and leavening expert, will surprise everyone with his lake mozzarella.
Piccolo Lago’s pastry chef Andrea Valle will end the evening in style with his floating sphere.
Elegance in a glass will be entrusted to Bellavista, who has made Italian bubbly a household word, and to Cinzia Ferro, award-winning bartender who will create two cocktails for the occasion.
The evening will be presided over by the ichthyologist Pierpaolo Gibertoni and made unique by BrokenCircle’s gritty music.
And of course there will be surprises from the lake brought by the divers from the carp fishing village.
